What Makes HA Different
Hyaluronic acid can hold 1,000 times its weight in water — making it uniquely effective as a humectant. However, the molecular weight determines where in the skin it acts: high molecular weight molecules form a film on the surface, while low molecular weight fragments penetrate to deeper layers.
The Three-Weight Approach
LUMIÈRE formulas use three molecular weights of HA in combination. High-weight provides immediate surface plumping; medium-weight penetrates the upper epidermis; low-weight reaches the dermal layer for structural support. Single-weight formulas deliver only one of these benefits.
