1. Define Your Positioning First
Before you approach a manufacturer, know who your customer is and what claim you will lead with. Formulation follows positioning — not the other way around.
2. Choose Your MOQ Range
Most credible manufacturers start at 500–1,000 units. If someone offers 50 units, ask what compromises they are making. Small MOQs require shared production lines and extended lead times.
3. Insist on Full Testing Data
Challenge testing, stability data and HRIPT should be non-negotiable. They protect your customers and your brand reputation.
